This one is a variation on my typical sign-as-I-go improv. Fussy cut birds, wacky log cabins to make non-square blocks, and appliqué and quilt them, in this case, with extra batting for some of the birds for a 3-d effect, and otherwise directly sewed onto a red corderoy backing.
