Quilty updates

 I finished the old blanket UFO I talked about a long while back - all greens on the new section, plus flattening out the fabrics in the center that didn't shrink with the cottons.

I finished a very colorful squares and rectangles crazy-isa quilt juste barely in time to get it in the Wisconsin Winter Quilt Festival this coming weekend.

My next UFO is a wedding quilt due this summer, which I've only barely started.  I'm going it will go quickly once I get going but I have to finish charting it before I can go much further: It will be a mix of two kinds of blooming nine-patch, and some Irish chain in between.

I understand there is a way to do pictures here but I haven't quite figured out that one yet.  I'll post some quilt pictures as soon as I do.

You can do one of two things. One is to buy space on dreamwidth for your pictures.
Two is to get a free account on Flickr. One you have your account setup and have successfully loaded your pictures to Flickr, you go into the share option on Flickr and click on Embed. It will give you html code to put into your dreamwidth blog.

Would do the Flikr, but it doesn't work. I tried to sign up, it insisted on a Yahoo sign up, and as usual, that means it's utterly useless. Yahoo is utter crap. Yahoo keeps telling me it doesn't support that number no matter what phone number I try to give it, even when I used a real phone number (a business one) and the offered option of creating a new yahoo e-mail, since my old Yahoo e-mail no longer worked (I never used it except for some other user ID). I hate these systems that want to use an e-mail address as a user ID and a phone number as identity backup, as if I would want to share either one in a forum that is so easy to get access to by anyone!

Yahoo doesn't have my phone number. When Chrono gets home from the convention, we will see what may be done. She's the expert. You might be able to use another photo service.
